Meet Brooke And Her Journey
Hey! My name is Brooke (aka Brookey). I am Mum to 3 gorgeous boys, 4 fur babies, and a wife to a very lucky man. I have red dirt under my nails & salt in my hair. I am a gypsy by nature, a mother by choice, and a photographer by passion. This isn’t my side hustle, this is my art that flows in my blood through generations of photographers in my family. This business of mine is heart-led. I’m an old-school rock and roll lover who loves vibing in a country pub, and yes, I’m also that person sitting in my car waiting for the song to finish.
Family and friendship are deeply ingrained into my personal values and flow through my creativity. Documenting someone’s life is such an honour and privilege for me—I don’t take it lightly.
I picked up my first SLR camera at the age of 6, and it instantly felt right. Being the youngest sibling meant I naturally did a lot of documenting. In my teens, the grunge and Freo spirit influenced me, and my camera never left my side. Later, as a young adult, I moved to the country and found a deep connection with the earth. I also worked in the Pilbara mines and photographed events in country pubs, capturing moments of bands and communities.
Over the years, I’ve had the honour of photographing events for well-known names including Travis Fimmel (Ragnar from Vikings), The Angels, Screaming Jets, Ash Grunwald, Matt Gresham, Ian Moss, and Adam Brand—just to name a few.
My aim is simple yet powerful: to document YOU. I capture the in-between moments—the ones people wish they could relive again and again, like an old song. Your story will live on in photographs that will hang proudly on the walls of your family homes for generations.
